90' Grand Am Engine Problems
Nice forum you have here. I have a 90' Grand Am 2.5 that acts like it wants to start but just won't catch. I've replaced the timing gear tensioner which put a slit in my cover (causing an oil leak) which I've replaced also. I've also replaced the battery, plugs and wires and put 2 new coil packs on because a friend said it was only running on 2 cylinders. It still won't start. When it wants to start, it's a good running car. Can I get any suggestions on my next move to get my car running?

Wicked car you have there! I've gotten the car to start but it won't stay started. The starter was one of the first things I changed. Getting good spark and good gas flow. It's almost as if a wire is loose somewhere. I hear horror stories of "cams" to "oxygen sensors". I don't know where else to look. Thanks for getting back with me.
