Well, I have a 93 Z-34 and it is fairl similar. Pull the speaker covers out. Then you will see 4 4mm screws holding the speaker to the dash. Take them out and pull the speaker disconnecting the wiring harness before taking the speaker all the way out

I have a 90 and my covers don't come off. I had to pop the top of the dash off there's three screws holding it in and the rest are just clips two are in the gauge display and one you have to pull your glovebox out and it pretty much in the middle in there.
