Question Best way to clean corrosion off brake system? Pics of my nasty brakes inside!

What's the best way to clean this mess up?

WOW. when's the last time you drove that? that's some heavy duty corrosion yu got thar. I don't think you should have to worry about the hub of the rotor so much as you are the braking surface. you could try some brake cleaner and some really fine sandpaper just to knock the majority off. Or maybe some sort of corrosion remover. Nothing too harsh that will scar up the metal. If not, just scrape up the $120 or so and get a new set.
