more slower or less faster

whats better to have ram-wise? i got a 512mb pc2100 for $60. i can get pc3200 for $150. whats better to have... a couple sticks of 2100, or a single 3200?

Tough call to make. Personally I'd go with 256mb of the faster.

I have to agree with Oz on this one. 256 of faster ram is better. I have a gig of ddr3200 and have never used more then 214 of it and that was running 3D Studio Max. Thats about as memory intensive as you can get
