From what I have heard, the WRX/STI will be offered in more than one engine configuration in order to comply with the WRC regulations and requirements, the likely configurations are 2.0, 2.5 and 3.0 engines.

Personally, I am more than happy with my 2.5RS right now, considering that is produces similar HP to what the SA government have got them restricted to in South Africa......or at least did when I left SA.
