paint: testors one shot laquer with testoros gloss coat custom parts: - custom racing buckets with seatbelts - custom tach - detail master - flocked carpet - sms carbon fiber package shelf - detail master and model car garage metal engine parts including air breathers, radiator cap, a/n fitting, wiring, air filters, oil filter, pulles, photoetch electric fan, etc. - srcartchbuilt optima yellow top battery - brake lines - gas lines - custom plates with license plate surrounds etc etc etc ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() what do you think?

I think you did a great job. The engine bay looks flawless. Optima battery came out sweet. I see you used testors new laquers, it seems like you have a little orange peel or too much base paint as the flakes look a little too thick. How are those laquers to work with? Also you should bmf the window trim around the sides (small windows). Nice muscle though, i would burn out in that thing anyday!

looks like you have the technique down, but you didn't quite stick the landing on the paint job. I'd say you've got a nice shelf model though.
I used the testors lacquer stuff, and my results were similar. I did find that a good primer that's wet sanded with 800 grit or higher and decant and shoot through my AB makes for a MUCH better paint job with this type of paint.
