I forgot to take a picture with the lid and strap on, but it looks a lot cleaner with the lid on.

And yeah the weight difference was surprising. Like before if I took a sharp turn my car just went through it but now I actually get some decent rotation on the back. Pretty sweet.

It's good for any FWD car I guess. I mean I'm not sure how the Sedan trunk is but if it's something like the Hatch one it should work fine.

looks pretty cool, be neat to blend it in with a sub, and some speakers in the back.

I was wondering the same thing. I know a guy that did it in his Camaro and it caused problems because of the charge having to travel farther.

Sorry this is so long....

I have a question about the battery. It probly belongs in a new thread but thought i would just ask here instead. My alternator sucks ass, but im not gonna get a new one because im buying a ZC very soon (this week sometime) Anyways, the alternator has been bad for atleast a couple months now, but the battery hasnt died yet. It starts really weak and the headlights dim every time i hit the brakes but it wont die. When i get the new engine with the newer alternator, will it eventually charge the battery back up or should i really get a new one. Just trying to save myself a few bucks here and there thats all so dont point out the fact that im a cheap fuck.:finger:

The point is FWD cars are really front heavy. Batterys are heavy but are portable so you can put it in the back easily. So by sticking my heavy battery in the back of my car I made it that much closer to 50/50 weigh ratio which would be perfect.

And you shouldn't have charge problems unless you use small wire. 2AWG wire works great, 4AWG is ok but I still rather use 2.

I don't see a question, rather a statement

If you have been running on a bad alt. for a few months you have been beating up that battery. You should most definately change that battery when you get a new alt. because if you have damaged the battery and chances are you have you will strain your new alt. The battery and alt work together, if one goes bad the other suffers. It is always improtant to know what your charging system and battery is doing at all times. I have volt meters in both my cars. I also belive every car should have a volt meter and not just and idiot light. Thats just my opinion, but I would change it.
