HA HA, guys, another one!
Backed out of a friends driveway at a 90 degree angle. When I went to turn the wheels back I had to go all the way to the right stop to not hit a parked car. Hear a LOUD clunk, and immediatly when I went to go, the car seemed to pull to the right. Background..... -had a bad lower controll arm bushing, replaced with ebay cheap ones, alignment Little while later, car had problems pulling to the left after taking left turns, but would drive perfect after taking a right turn -diagnosed bad strut bearings, replaced front bearings and mounts (monroe with lifetime warrenty) with new AC Delco struts, alignment again Good to go now except that the stupid cheapo bearings make noise, so I ordered a set of Delco's from rock auto. Then changed my oil and found a cracked stabilizer bar. Waiting on ZZP to ship my GMPP bar before I put the new strut bearings in and get an alignemt. Now tonight the HUGE CLUNK followed by the slight pulling to the right. For some reason I think these cheapo ebay lower controll arms are my problem..... Bad ball joints are what I think What do you guys think? PS when I got home, I climbed under and the stabilizer bar was still connected, so the clunk was not the bar completly breaking. Nothing else looked out of the ordinary.... Need advice, thanks!
