Re: xsara picasso hdi tyres

You'll pass an MOT fine so long as the tyres are the same size on the same axle. So 185/65R15s both on the back and 195/65R15s both on the front is fine. But you'll fail if you have a 195/65R15 and a 185/65R15 on the same axle.

On this car, you should have the same size tyres all round. If i remember correctly, these came with 185/65R15 Michelin Pilot Energys from the factory.

Re: xsara picasso hdi tyres

Should be fine since your car is FWD. The rear tires are just along for the ride. The 195s will be 10mm wider (5mm on each side) and about 3.25mm taller sidewalls - so 6.5mm larger diameter. Take a look and see if you have room. If you do, go for it.

Re: xsara picasso hdi tyres

Just note that different tyre types and sizes front to rear will unbalance the cars handling.

My prelude has different brands front and rear, and I don't notice any difference 99% of the time, but pushed to the limit it is not as stable as it was when all 4 tyres were the same.
