Sauber - Mercedes C9 LM 1987

Hi guys
Last is building represents a Sauber-Mercedes C9 went to Le Mans 1987.To this model from Revell (ex Hasegawa) is needed to make some minor adjustments.
Car driving:Johnny Dumfries (GB)
Chip Ganassi (USA)
Mike Thackwell (NZ)
But after 37 laps to hurt them gearbox.

Very nice, clean build
Looks like you coped very well with that $hitty front hood idea they had when making this kit

Funny that you should post this as I was saying only yesterday to a friend that I have the 'itch" to build my version of this kit

What color/paint did you use if I may ask?

When asked what color I used, unfortunately, can not reply.Colour is the time when I built the aircraft and shuffle am to midnight blue U.S. aircraft.

Great looking model! Very clean and realistic looking build.

Those wheels look excellent, did you use aftermarket wheels or the kit ones?

Nice to see a different version of the C9 besides the silver ones. Those wheels look great! I've never seen tires with yellow stripes on them like that before.

Nice and clean build.
I was wondering about the yellow stripes on the tires as well. Never seen them before. Is it heading for a crash test ? :-)
Also....i never knew Chip Ganssi actually drove racecars himself! I read three books about the Sauber C9/11 but that completely escaped me!
