Thumbs up Peugeot 407 Coupé !!!

Superb ! The current 406 Coupé Pininfarina won't be ashamed of this new 407 !!!! I love it. It'll appear in mid-2004.

You can for instance look at the german made TÜV report.. Most french cars have poor quality! This is a fact.

Poor quality ? sure ! ... could you stop saying dumb things like that please ?
My parents got many Citroën Peugeot and Renault (CX, XM, BX, 504, 406, 306, Espace, etc.) and have less problems than on other cars like Opel, Volvo or Mercedes ! And they keep their cars about 3 years and 150 000 km (100 000 miles).
Plus, today, french cars are almost as reliable as german or japanese cars. And when there are problems, it's because French cars have an advanced technology (multiplexing, etc.), they try some things before Mercedes, BMW, VW, Toyota or of course GM or Ford....

If you see some figures, the most relible cars in France are 1st : the Peugeot 406, 2d : the Mercedes C Class, 3rd : the Citroën Xantia (at the technical control of 2001).
And if French cars were so bad, do you think 1 car over 4 in Europe would be French ?

Even Italian cars are today more reliable. And, surely, much more than American ones.

Thats what happens when you diss the French LOL good points though Michael- my Renault Laguna, Renault and Peugeot 6O7 never gave me any problems and the Renaults got to 120,000 and 175,000 km's respectively. Of ourse people will be skeptical- but they don't know what they are missing out on

That 407 isn't bad looking. OTOH, does it really need a grille opening that large?

Jim : lol !

tigermiata : the front won't be exactly the same, it'll surely be more discreet, as the current 406 Coupé (picture).

It depends on the engine... as on every car.
For the Mégane, if you choose the 2.0 Turbo 200 hp, trust me, the accelaration will be good !!
And for the Kangoo, indeed it's not a sport car, but it's a Kangoo, I mean a "multispace" derivated from an industrial vehicle (as a VW Caravelle e.g).
And for this new 407 Coupé, it'll be available with a new V6 3.0 245 hp and a petrol V6 HDi 180 hp.... so, it's almost (there's alas not a overpowered version like the M3) as good as a 3 Series Coupé.

Indeed, but the 206 RC with 180 hp is fast too.
