didn't get the d16z6 but the d16y7 help?

i have a 94 lx d15b7, just bought a 97 d16y7 going to turbo, have most of my turbo parts, just waiting on a few more. What all will i need to make this engine work in my car. I know what i need dealing with the turbo, just need to know what i need to make this engine run in my car, because the intake is different, and it maybe some more things that are different that i just dont know.

Other than the OBD conversion,you should have no problems.

Wiring isn't my specialty,but the plugs are different between the OBD I and OBD II harnesses on the injectors,distributor,and alternator I believe.So you can get new dizzy,inject. and what not,or run OBD conversion harnesses.

Might want to consider doing a Y8 manifold swap. If you know what both look like, you'll easily see why the Y8 is a better choice. Here's a link for ya:

i'm going to have to have it man, it might set me back two weeks, but while i have the motor out, might as well ( Y8 ) manifold.
