56" HD, Jim, you suck. Acutally I don't envy you that much, my neighbor was all excited when he got his. After spending the bulk of last summer on his roof every Saturday morning, no joke, trying to get the booster antennea straightened out, I'm not sure if he's put his fooot through it yet or not.

Stepho - My welding inst. siad that they work pretty good on thick stuff, but burn right through thin stuff. Not sure what he considers thin or thick but I'm guessing anything in the order of 1/2" would qualify as thick for aluminum. Let me know.

Cable... no antenna. Xbox 360 is HD, so is my dvd player, so I get to blow shit up, like life size shit, and it looks real! Although I'm not much for the zombie / dead humanoid creature games. I do like the FPS games though. I might just hafta go out and buy a football and a hockey game.

He has cable too, apparently you have to install a filter and this booster antennea to reap the full benefit of the HD in local area broadcasts, maybe it's just our market area, dunno.

Jim, pick up Gears of War.. you wont regret it.. that game is the new and better Halo.. Also Saints Row is a fun game that you can waste alot of time on just running around (game is very similar to Grand theft auto)

Actually not even 1/10th of porn is shot in HD. I would be suprised to find out that any porn is shot in HD. Considering there was practically no way to get HD programming into someone's house before recent years. And even now the stations with HD (ABC CBS etc.) do not play anything X rated (at least in my area). Plus you figure the cost of the camera and its still going to look horrible because pornography producers rarely think about lighting. Plus check out the cost of a HD DVD burner which are also relitively new to the market. Also 90% of porn is sold on the internet, and HD formating is not download friendly.

There is however the stuff they air on stars/hbo at 1am that is shot in pretty good quality but the action leaves something to be desired.

You may wonder how I know so much about this... a friend of mine has a pornography license and I am a film student... I'm sure you can put two and two together.

I got my 42 hd last year, the simpsons are lifesized on it. Plus destroy all humans is pretty cool when the kids play it. Plug the playstation into the digital surround, use the fiber optic audio cable and the rgb video cable for it and wow.
