Re: Newbie here... Is this forum active?

In one word...VERY. Out of all the forums I peruse, the Caprice is one of the busiest. When you sign on to the site and go to a forum, the threads in bold have had activity since you were last logged on. That can be a good indicator as to the activity or posting level of a certain forum.

Just look at the dates on teh previous topics.

It's really active and you probably haven't gotten an answer because people haven't gotten home yet.

No, it's pretty vacant here, and any activity you see in here is a Fig-Newton of your imagination.

Re: Newbie here... Is this forum active?

that thing really seemed to have a lot of trouble with bumps.
typical under damped suspension i guess.
with my 9c1 shocks and standard springs, it feels like a typical modern 2dr car.

Re: Newbie here... Is this forum active?

I kinda like threads like this once in a while, has absolutely nothing to do with the section it's in, and is just a sorta goof-off spot.

That Caprice video... cool. Still had that '80s style introduction lol. I'm suprised that a car as big as it is, is capable of nearly 30 MPG.

I agree with you on both pete, we should have just an off topic thread to b.s. around in. i like the retro look of the vid too, i'd like to see a review video like that with box caprices, im sure theres ones out there somewhere from the stoneage

Re: Newbie here... Is this forum active?

I've been trying to find 80's caprice professional videos since I got into this car. There must be some commercials or something? I've seen some cool ads in old National Geographic magazines and some others. But I really wish I could find a Chevrolet commercial archive from the 80's.
