Question 1998 Olds Regency

I need a grille for my olds and am having trouble finding one. I keep seeing one that is for a 1994-1996 that looks just like it but have had no luck at all finding one that says for 1998 Regency. Does anyone know if it will fit on my car? Would like to know for sure before I buy. I have already bought the bumper assembly, left light kit and front left fender off of a 1994 Delta 88 Royale and am hoping they fit. They look exactly alike as well. I just don't have a clue and no one I have talked to so far has helped. Thanks for any input.

Does this mean that the parts that I already have will not work either?

94-99 h'lamp is the same, bumper is different, The fender according to my books are different. You posted this in the 88 forum is it an 88 or 1998 98 Regency

It is a 1998 98 Regency. I just thought the 98 was just an upgraded design of the 88 so that is why I posted here.

Also just now realized that there is a 98 forum. My bad.

Re: 1998 Olds Regency

No problem, the 98 is a different platform than the 88, though.

Re: 1998 Olds Regency

Technically the Ninety Eight was discontinued circa 1996 and the Regency to include the LSS models were then introduced. However although some people classify it as a replacement for the 98 or call it a 98 Regency I disagree. The 98 was based on the GM "C" body platform. The Regency is based on the GM "H" body like the Buick LeSabre and Pontiac Bonneville, etc. Therefore the 88 forum is the closest and most correct for a 1998 Olds Regency.

Thread moved to the 88 forum.
