Finished: Ferrari F430 GT2, Tecnomodel 1/43

And here it is, very cool little kit, nicely done, perfect fit and details.

More or less box stock, added Eduard seat belts, CF where needed, some wires in interior and engine compartment.
Painted with Zero pure white, 2K clear, Alclad for all metal parts.

Thank you for following WIP http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=902938

and some "studio" ones

Now back to Maxi

Very nice, Sasa !!!

nearly unbelievable that it is 1:43, so even more respect on your clean finish, CF-decals and details

Great looking build!

Still waiting for one in 1/24. Sigh.

Looks nice, really like it. Very cool kit, cool car.
Excellent work!!
What size mesh for the intake/cooling grills? they look tiny, like how big is each opening?

Thanks Alex.

The thing with mash is that it is really not a mesh but PE plate with holes, but since there is light perforation around the hole there is slight 3D look. So I did a bit of optical trick with painting the mesh (first black, then polished alu) and polishing it slightly to get the effect. Then I added metal mesh behind this plate to create a bit of depth like the real car has. If you ask me this front mesh is not correct since real car has much bigger holes but very very thin lines.
Hole is very tiny, could be 0,2mm maybe 0,3mm

Exceptionally good for a 1:43 model! I would have easily mistaken it for a 1:24.
Very very clean work!
