Completed 'Cuda!!

I am calling this one my Memorial Day 'Cuda, just finished it today.
Color is Citrus Yellow Metallic from the Testors line of Lacquers. It is
an old Johan Sox and Martin 'Cuda so I had to do lots of alterations
when lowering this thing. I will be adding the top of the hood scoop later, had to add some plastic to it to get it to fit....

That looks great! I really like the use of the Weld wheels on the front. Where did you get the wheels on the back? They look like really deep keystones.

The back wheels and tires are from the original kit. I wanted to use most of the original kit parts as possible!!!

My sentiments exactly. I love the use of the mixmatched keystones and draglites. The color is very fitting of this car as well...loud but not garish.

very nice build. I think I'll have to re-consider letting my johan (testors) 'Cuda go to the sell pile.

Re: Completed 'Cuda!!

Oh wow. I just assumed this was the Revell kit. I`ll have to see if I can pick up the Johan kit.

Don't let that Johan or Testors kit go, it is the only correct Cuda body, you will regret it but if you do, let me know!!!

Re: Completed 'Cuda!!

Yeah, I always wondered why it always looked so much better than any of the other 'cudas.

That is the kit engine. I used different distributors from another drag car but everything else is from the kit!!
