Angry PETA has officially gone too far

http://www.nydailynews.com/02-28-200...6p-59049c.html
The PETA group has gotten on my nerves for as long as they have been around. Now they have crossed the line comparing the so called "slaughtering" of animals to the holocaust. This is very disturbing to me. How can you even compare animals to victims of the holocaust this is just immoral! I saw on the news last night that at a campus they were at a kid got arrested for ripping apart their huge billboards of naked dead victims of the holocaust next to dead pig, and for starting a fight. Anyways, I just needed to vent here, and I wanted to know what all of you thought about this disgraceful comparison?

Its on the front of thier webpage: www.peta.org

I have great respect for a lot that PETA stands for, and I agree with the opinions of many members of PETA on some subjects (eg. parts of the pet trade). However, I find that they often cross the line, and many of thier members are just activists for the sake of being activists and they really don't know shit about what is actually going on. I have spent lots of time working in labs where we use animals, and there is such tight security in those places because there is always a constant threat of animal activists coming in and destroying months of progress and thousands of dollars worth of reasearch. I'd like to see some of those activists go into a hospital and WATCH people deteriorate and die from the diseases which they held back research into.

Comparing the holocaust to slaughterhouses is incredibly disrespectful. It is a horrible comparasin. Sorry PETA, I guess we're all as bad as hitler for eating meat

"The slaughter of men, women and children. ... To use that as a theme for the ethical treatment of animals - these people are sick to do that."

We have lived on this earth for thousands of years, hunting other species for their meat, and their skins. We have become far more sophisticated in the last few hundred years, breeding and raising animals specifically for slaughter. These animals simply would not exist if we had no need for them. The whining ninnies at PETA can go away and draw pictures of ponies for all I care.My emotional involvement with meat ends at the barbeque.

PETA goes way to far alot of the time, i just looked at this and it pisses me off. The holocaust was a very tragic event in the history of the world and should not be compared to a dead animal that is used for food or testing. Think of how many illnesses we have conquered from doing testing on animals. This makes me mad

PETA can suck my balls- It is our own freedom to eat meat and god damn it I will eat it if I so god-damn wish If you read the 5th commandment in the Exodus book of the bible you will notice that God says that slaughter/killing of HUMANS is wrong- but anyting else was put on this earth to be used as food. So basicallly if they try using religion like they have before- this one is already layed down before them.

Decades from now, what will you tell your grandchildren when they ask you whose side you were on during the “animals’ holocaust”?

Bullshit- My Grandfather had no problam telling me that his brothers fought for Mussolini in WW2. And I won't have to tell them shit- because there is no animals holocaust.

My new lifetime goal is to walk into a PETA office with a big juicy steak and eat it in front of them

we should stage an entire protest of PETA by doing that. They would either pass out or have a heart attack. "MY GOD! HE NIBBLED THAT POOR DEAD AND DELICIOUSLY COOKED ANIMAL THAT WAS BRED FOR EATING!!!!!"

I agree, if they can protest outside the front of Macy's in the middle of New York City, why not protest out front of their offices and have a huge bar-b-que. We may need to leave the beer out of the equation though, it may get a little reckless then. I mean we don't want to look like jackasses like they do when they protest. And we wont only be cooking the meat for us, but well hand it out to passerby. Oh, to see the expressions on their faces....:machinegu PETA:finger4: What could our anit-PETA saying be?
