Unhappy confused and going crazey please help

i have a 94 buick lasabre it is a custom it was setting up for a couple of months i put a new battery it drove perfect for about a week then i drove it around one day and when i killed it it wouldnt crank the lights and the radio worked but not the power seat windows fuel pump it tried to crank but wouldnt the code reader only said throttle position sensor low wich i was told would not affect the car in this manner anyways after it was towed home it cranked the next day and is running great again but i have kids and dont want to chance it i have had 6 diffrent people suggest 6 diffrent possibilitys but i myself believe it may have something do do with a bad wire associated with the ignition is this possible please help im desparate thanks

This could be corroded positive or negative battery cables. First, remove the negative (-) battery cable and then remove the positive side, where you will see two large cables mounted piggyback with a spacer in between. Remove the rubber insulation to expose both cables and the spacer, and then check for corrosion between the two sides. In addition, look at the cables to see if you have corrosion inside the wire. If you find any corrosion, use a 50-50 mix of water and sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) with a brass brush to clean everything and then apply dielectric grease on all sides before reassembly. If the wire (cable) appears corroded, you may need to cut back the cable until you see clean wiring inside & install new terminals.

After cleaning & tightening the terminals, take the car to AutoZone or Advanced, and have them do a battery load test and alternator output test, then post back.

thanks so much for the help i was able to fix the problem myself with the detailed instructions from everone it was the ground wires that are in the doors totally corroded sorry cant spell thanks again took it apart cleaned them and also checked the battery wires they were good but its always good to check i hope i can be of some help in the future
