96 fuel pump control module

just wondering where the fp control module is at and what its part number is. i've been working on my car for over 2 months and i've finally narrowed down my problem to either the ignition switch or fp control module.

thanks,
guy

Re: 96 fuel pump control module

You should be able to get a part# from RockAuto.com or GMpartsirect.com. Their mounted on the left side of the trunk on Bonnevilles. I don't know if the Park Aves are the same. We haven't seen much trouble from these, what's the car doing?

Re: 96 fuel pump control module

well after i changed out the crank sensor it would still stall. now it is stalling whenever you use almost anything electronic. biggest culprit is windows and door locks.

Re: 96 fuel pump control module

That may be an easy & free fix. I'll add a link to this post in a few minutes.

Here's the link. See if the Park Ave has the ground bus in the same area & let us know what you find.

Re: 96 fuel pump control module

Glad you got it fixed. As soon as you mentioned the power windows & locks I was 99% sure where the problem was.
BTW- is this a Park Ave Ultra? Only the supercharged engines have the Fuel Control Module.

Re: 96 fuel pump control module

The link isn't working for me currently. If you could tell me where that ground bus is located I would greatly apperciate it. I have the same problem currently.

Click Here for the same info. The site to which the link above directs you, is going through some changes.
