Sure. What specifically are you having trouble with?

Re: v-12 wiring

I've done a few 8cyl distributor and drilling is hard enough, but a 12 cyl is even more crowded...

Off hand I don't know, does the 25th anniv have two six point distributors or one 12 point? What kit are you building?

Re: v-12 wiring

off hand, I recall, the anniversary car running on a single 12 point distributer.
Then again, what else is there to say about wiring except for use a smaller drill bit?

It's much easier if you make sure of the positions using a needle to make some guide points but beyond that, it's just a case of being careful.
Well, that and using suitably thin wire (which means you dril smaller holes)

Needle? Guide points?

Would you mind explaining? I'm waiting for Detail Master race car wire for my 917K, and I've got a pretty complicated task ahead of me: 12 cylinders, two distributors, and two wires/sparkplugs per cylinder.

And it's the first engine I've ever wired!

Re: v-12 wiring

what i mean is, use a needle to make a small point/dent on the distributor where you want to drill before you drill.
If you drill straight off, you risk slipping as the drill bit turns. The dent you make with the needle acts as a guide hole in pretty much the same way that you might make a guide hole before screwing two bits of timber together.

Of course, the smaller you get, the more difficult it gets.

If you look at the picture of the engine of the Lamborghini with the 12 point distributor, you'll see that the wires connects via boots that go over the distributor connection points and that there are actually small bits of of white between the wire and the boot.

If I recall correctly, the EM kit has the little points molded onto the distributor so here, you have two choices;

i) attempt to slip over small bits of wire to form the plug boots in which you slip the wire
e.g bits of cored out 0.30 wire (boot) with 0.20 wire

or

ii) remove the molded in bits and drill in to fit your own boots, again, probably 0.30 wire boots with 0.20 wire)
