US 2003 Civic TypeR

just got my new motor trend and they have a small article in the first drive section for the Civic type R. They expect to see it on our shores by the end of 2003 for about 18-20K. Was wondering if anyone knows anymore about this. They say it is expected becuase of the big flop of the si.

hopefully they will be better then the si but the design really sucks and i don't want to see a lot of the type r's around because it will really through the rareity down a lot after seeing them all the time. if you understand what i mean

Ummm...

From what I heard from my friend from Honda from his friend in the sales department said that they are going to get the Type R EP sometime next month. But I dont know if I believe that because there would be more hype then this. Especially on the forums. So yeah. Peace.

well that does'nt make any sence
it's reminds me of an arcticle i read on an accord v6 vs. acura type-s.
basically in the end it said "honda would'nt offer the type-s motor in an accord due to the fact that they would lose out on sales for acura"

so if the civic type-r & the rsx type-s have the same motor and the civic will cost 18k and the rsx will cost 25k. who would sell more??

is there an rsx-r coming?
do i smell another rumor....

Only because we ARE going to have an Accord with a Type-S motor in it next month. It's gonna be called the Acura TSX. It's has the same motor I believe that's in the Type-S. Well I know it's coming with a 200hp 2.4L Inline 4 motor.
