Question scale neon???

Has anyone seen any neon for model cars??? Or something that would look close to it? Let me know if you know anything.

Yes, I have seen them, and links have been posted on this forum. Sorry I can't remember which ones, but do a few searches and you should be able to find them.

I've seen kits made mainly for RC cars that are just little wires that glow...sort of like fiber optics. The kit costed $25 and came with hardware for wiring with a 9v battery. Can't remember where I saw it. Search the forum.

You can use LED's for neon.

yeah. I had also thought about using LEDs. I wanted to wire two LEDs into the ends of of a piece of clear tubing and put BMF on one side to reflect the light. I'm not sure how well this would work though.

Yea LED's work great when you shoot them through a tube and get the light to spread out. Think of Fiber Optics when using LED's

LEDs i think would be to concentrated, try this stuff

Glow Wire


I used a similar thing for a friends PC, but i dont remember where i bought it. I do know i payed about $15 for 4 feet of this stuff though.
