1996 neon rough everything

i was driving on the highway in the rain a few days ago and my car started to shake really bad. its happened before so i figured some water somehow got in my engine so i got water remover and fuel injector cleaner and the problem stopped. but now those things arn't working and im not sure why. my whole engine is shaking pretty bad and my exhaust is very noisy. it also has terrible acceleration now. can anyone help? thanks

When was the last time you changed your spark plugs and or wires? Have you checked the motor mounts? If one goes bad, it will make the car shake really bad.
