First of all, there is no such thing as a "good" tuner sound, unless you're tuning a 350Z. Secondly, if you're just after the sound, buy a fart-can muffler. They're worth at least 100 hp.

Generally you get about 10 HP for each square inch on the exhaust tip. Chrome adds slightly more. If you put a "Y" pipe in for dual tips, DOUBLE the benefit!

If you want good exhaust sound, get a nice sound system and record an engine that is capable of sounding good.

No no no!!! This is the internet curtis, that means its worth 300 horsepower. And at least 3 seconds off in the quarter mile......And spray painted interior trim is an additional 2 tenths off for each piece. 3 tenths off if you carry the spray can with you.
Contrary to popular belief, stickers don't add horsepower. They add downforce for added traction. Since the car has the added traction, people often mistake the extra pep for extra ponies.....

Re: Help?

serious tuners put a header on it and remove the rest of the exhaust.

Re: Help?

Exhausts are for wimps.

Nothing like the sound of open ports.

Re: Help?

A flew pipe? I think I had one of those on my race truck (use one from a furnace adds far more power than one from a water heater)

That was until one day it flew off.
