Ok recently my 6/9s in the back both blew and now every time the bass hits it sounds like foam peanuts being crunched together.

So i was shopping around for some subwoofers to get some of my bass back and ill just replace my 6/9s later.
This customer at my gfs work said he can get a good deal because he works at an audio shop.

Anyway i got 2 brand new 12 pioneer ts w31cs and a used kenwood kac 723 amp for $150 with a free install. Was it a good deal? I looked around the net for the pricing on the subs and saw that they were around $50. Unfortunately i couldnt find a price on the amp.
Ths subs push 100 wats a piece rms and i cant find any info on the amp.
im just wondering It sounds like a good deal but i just want to make sure.

Sounds like something to just get by. For the price, it was a good deal, but I'm not sure about the quality. The Kenwood amp is 200watts, and it pushes... 2x40/2x80 watts, I don't think that's enough to get good bass for subs. That would be an "OK" amp to run your new 6x9s off of... or just get the 6x9s and save up for some real heavy subs and amp. But I'm no expert
