I'm sure there are these threads weekly but I want someones opinion who don't know me or the parties involved. Here is my wall of text story...

So my gf and I after 3 years and a year living together in college decide that it would be healthy for a break this summer (3 weeks from now would have started, but that was 2 weeks ago). Like on the 26th or 27th of last month she leaves her myspace up and I get snoopy and read a couple of the messeges in the inbox. well her friend but also mine from our home town is alot of them... one of them from her says, "i think i like you", his reply is "i like you too". I get raging pissed and confront her we have really big talk and she is like i'm so sorry i never ment to hurt you. he sends me this

any ways her friends died in a motorcycle accident and she goes to the service on that friday, 2 days later in cali (we're in utah). she texts me alot the whole way there and the first day, 2nd day 11 hrs with out one... I wake up that night (sat) and just KNOW she cheated on me with bob... i didn't even know she was going to see him or even be close... well monday comes and she is on her way back. she didn't text me like for 10 hrs on sunday, BTW, and she begins texting me about how she don't want to be with me anymore, i get pissed and tell her that she can talk to me about this face to face like an adult. so i get a pic of her and him.... so i ask if she cheated on me...eventually i get it out of her and she says yes... well lots of fighting and angeryness later.... she's sleeping on the couch now, but talks to him on the phone and texts him all day. I am trying to be her friend and stuff cuz i still care about her, i'm just sooo mad. but I have asked her not to use my comp to communicate with him or look at his myspace and shit. well today i'm on my bed and she's on my desktop, i see her saving pics of him and her on my pc (for myspace i would think) and i am like why can't you respect me at all and not do that. now she's all pissed that i was being a "jerk". how the hell am I supposed to be feeling??? I think I'm being really really nice about this whole thing, and she keeps doing and saying shit to make me mad so she can feel better about this whole thing.... /end long ass rant

What do you guys think?

Edit : she also says i shouldn't kick his ass for this and she'll never talk to me again if i did. and also told me she don't want to even be my friend cuz i'm mean.

Did I not see that you guys wanted a "break" in things? What did you expect her to do, sit home and not see how the field was since she left it three years ago?

Anyway, just went through this with my ex, dump her. If you two were still going out and she cheated, it's over, done, finished.

I know its not easy but kick her to the curb!!. Find someone who can respect you enough to talk to you and not fool around behind your back. Its not going to get better if you hang onto it.....

Stop being her door mat and grow some self respect.

Kick her out, with all her possessions all over the footpath and "CHEATER" written in shaving cream on her car.

Demand the rest of her months rent and tell her to have a nice life.

Move on, find someone better who won't cheat on you.

Her parents came into to help her with her flat tire and help pay her rent and crap... I'm just sleeping here, basically living at a friends house, it's only 2 weeks till i'm out of here anyways... She's been sleeping on the couch bed. It basically is just all of your problems are not any of my concern anymore.

I do agree you should just drop her but i also have been on the other side and sometimes you just need forgiveness. if shes still in touch with him then i would drop her, but when it was me i totally cut off communitation with the guy. i am still with my bf and it will be 3 years in december so i guess i didn't fuck that badly.

Been in that situation, didn't know who i wanted to kill more, myself, her or the guys she cheated on me with.

Just walk away from it all, she aint worth it.

I wouldn't put yourself through this kind of crap. you will drive yourself up the wall, only to fall off the wall. it hurts when you hit the bottom. don't shoot yourself in the foot with it bro. you won't get anywhere with it. after that amount of time ya'll are together, and she's going to go behind your back and tell some other guy she likes him... DUMP HER DUDE!!! It will save you a whole freakin' truck-load of trouble.

As much as I appreciate your interest in leaving some helpful feedback, if you could please check the dates of the threads in which you post to ensure that they are not more than a couple of months old, that would be awesome . By letting the dead threads stay that way, it keeps the forum less cluttered and allows for the recent threads to receive the attention that they deserve.
