2 Door Windows

I own a 2000 Grand Am GT 2 door... The problem I am having is with the switch on the drivers side. The only thing that will work on it is it will roll the passenger window down but not up... It won't do anything for the drivers side... The passenger switch works fine as it will move the window up and down. Any ideas?

Re: 2 Door Windows

Welcome to AF.

Sounds like your switch control might hav a bad connection or the switch mech. is dirty.

I'd pull the switch panel out and check the plugs for corrosion. Wouldnt hurt to check the pass side switch too.
If they are ok, try shaking or blowing out the switch control. Some times debrie gets into them and they dont work properly.
Wiggling them side to side also can help clear the button under the switch.

Thier are pics and helpful info in this thread...

Hope that helps
