Hello All. I have a 90 civic dx 2dr hb with manual transmission and I am installing an alarm system. I 've already done the basics (battery hook-up, ground) but I need some help locating some wires. Can someone please tell me where to find the:
on board dome light relay door trigger (-, +) inputs and... parking light outputs. This will be of great help. Thanks ahead of time. Scott 90 Civic Dx Short Ram Intake Clear corners Clear bumpers Performance exhaust |

take off the panel under the dash and there will be a bunch of wires. If you have a test probe locate the white wires and test them untill one becomes positive. but make sure that when you check the wire turn your dimmer switch and make sure that it does not chage at all.
As for the door pin. you should see a switch at the bottom of your door jamb. and take off you plastic panel that runs the length of the door jamb. under that there will be a group of wires. look for the green/red one and follow it.

Thanks again. The white wire that I am locating, is it for the dome light? If not, what is it's purpose.
Thanks Scott |

Actually you should be able to get all those at the fusebox in the little unused conections.

Hey audio head. You mean, I can get everything from the fuse box. That sounds Great. Which fuse box are we talking about though. Inside or under the hood. Also, what is the "little unused connections" you are talking about?
Thanks Scott |

UNDER the drivers dashto the left of steering column. Above the fuses there should be little places that look as if there should be wires plugged into them. If you can't find the plugs then find the wires going into the box. red/black for parking lights that is 12v trigger. And green/red for your dome and door trigger (same wire) that sees a ground when door is open(dome light is on) which is called - a negitive trigger

That was GREAT!!! I think I'm finally getting it. Everytime a new reply post, I go to my car to check it out. Anyways, does that mean that the "Negative Instant Trigger Input" wire, the "Dome light" wires, and the "Door trigger neg, and pos" wires, all gets attached to the green and red wires?
THanks Scott |

your light wire from the alarm (which is usually white) goes to the red with black wire. Then your door trigger and domelight supervision wire from the alarm should both go to the green and rad wire. I'm off to lunch so I'll be back in an hour or so.

Thanks audio head. I hope I'm not upsetting you with my lack of knowledge. I just want to be one of those guys who knows how to do things themselves. Any ways, I typed out the instructions that came with the alarm in the exact manner. Maybe you could get a better understanding of what I am dealing with here. By the way, it is a Eagle Eye 90902c model.
Thanks Scott |

Ok cut and tape off these wires cause you won’t be using them.
Orange Gray Blue (unless your doing a pinswitch under the hood) Voilet White with red Ok then connect the green and one of the black/white wires to the green/red of your car Then hook the white to the red/black of your car Then hook the other black/white and also your black to a ground or screw it to metal Brown to the positive of your siren(should be red) The red should go to your ignition harness to a wire that shows 12v at ALL times The yellow also goes to the ignition harness that shows 12v only when the key is in the on position The brown loop (if you want starter interrupt) gets cut. At the ignition harness find a wire that is 12v only when the key is turned to the start position. Cut that wire also and hook one brown to one side and the other brown to the other side. e-mail me if you need more info [email protected]
