check engine light flash
My primera made in uk .the check engine light sometime and engine stall .Can someone help how to retreive fault code.
the diagnostic plus is 14 pin grey color . primera diesel year 97 with engine CD20 . please reply email [email protected] .

The fault code that will have been logged will be "chain of immu".
This means that the immobizer control unit in the car lost the signal from the transponder chip in the key.It may just need the key re-coding in again or possibly a new key. Hope this helps.
