Lens cover removal

Tried to get out lens cover on my 97gr. Marquis. I looked at the manual and it showed only one snap ring pliers piece. It came off but the lens will not come out. Do I need to also take out the snap rink holders for the adjustment screws?

Re: Lens cover removal

The entire head light lens. It is one solid piece that the bulbs are put into.

Re: Lens cover removal

There should be 3 clips holding it in place. Here is partial directions from Alldatapro.

Remove three headlamp mounting clips retaining headlamp to radiator grille opening panel reinforcement. NOTE: Use snap-ring pliers to spread headlamp mounting clips, then pull straight upward to disengage.
Remove headlamp from vehicle.

Re: Lens cover removal

Thank you. I do see those. I did not know if those were also holding the lens in. I thought they were to adjust the head light, and were not to be removed.
