i dont know if thats what i need to do or not thats what my friend and I are assuming....everything is hooked up correctly but when i turn on the system ( the amp turns on) but the subs dont hit at all. He had the same problem on his car (ford thunderbird) and he took it to a installation place and they told him that the stock amp needed to be overriden. They brought out this cable and did it in a matter of seconds....if this isnt the problem what could it be?

accords dont have stock amos, it might be a bad connection to the amp.

it is most likely the wiring, just like 4drlx said. who did the wiring? a friend of mine had a shop do a "professional" installation, and i gave him my old subs(pair of gnx 12's) and the bass coming out sounded worse than his 6.5's. so i took the box and hooked it back up to my amp and they hit. also ignore what they said about stock amp, whoever told you that shouldnt be doing installs. that was just bs he told you to take the blame off them, if theyre the ones that ran the wires.
