Totally new to all this.

Whats up guys? Ok so heres the deal i just got my 96 firebird last year and had a bunch of shit go wrong like stupid shit like wires and window motors..but i wanna start doin some stuff to it cause its totally stock and im gettin bored.. i wanna get my hands dirty now..so im thinkin about gettin a SLp cold air intake..but im stuck from there..like i said im totally new to all this fbody stuff..HELP!?!

auto or manual tranny?? v6 or v8? intake and exhaust are the primary tings on this cars so thats a good start

It's v6 and it's automatic i have an exhaust and im workin on gettin a intake..any suggestions on which kind..ohh and i def. want a new exhaust..my car sounds way to girly for me lol. i want that sexxi rumble

for sexy rumble some headers and flowmaster or borla its the way to go on the muffler, I have always used flowmaster but I have heard a few camaros with borla and they sound f..... good

Welcome to the forums Let's keep the language to a minimum please

I'm not really up on the 3.4 perfomance wise, but the standard start is intake and exhaust to get it breathing a little better. Next is to get running a little on the cooler side, as f-bodies since the late '70s have been plagued with performance loss related to heat for the sake of lower emissions. So a lower temp thermostat would be a start (but don't go crazy in a Northern climate) and a lower temp fan switch will get you started.
