Unhappy happen to anyone else?

i replaced the o-ring for the oil pump drive, changed the intake gaskets, ect.
my car was hard starting and ran like shit.check engine light said code 15 ECT sensor. i took a look and sure as shit,i forgot to plug it back in.
felt like such a jackass.
anyways, now every morning i start my car the svc engine soon light is on,if u let it warm up and restart the car,the light don't come on,
i cleared the code and it still does it,but runs fine except for my second problem, when im driving through a parking lot or going slow around a corner
{wich isn't very often}lol,my car will die for no reason,i put it in nuetral and start it up everything is fine.???????
i have no idea
i checked the codes again and it also says low voltage to fuel pump, now does that mean my pump is on its way out,bad wire,or what?
i have no clue and was hoping that someone on here may have had this happen to them, this is a 3.4 dohc that im talking about
thanx alot guys i greatly appreciate it

Re: happen to anyone else?

The fuel pump low volt sounds like it is going south, or perhaps the wiring harness got muffed. But the cornering would slosh the gas around enough (if you have a low tank) to kill it, but since you're getting a code thrown at you...wouldn't hurt to look into the fuel pump as a probable cause.

Re: happen to anyone else?

Since you mentioned "code 15" that means you have a pre-0OBDII vehicle.

Therefore, the ECM (not PCM) reads the fuel pump voltage signal long before the wires get anywhere near the fuel pump. I'd suspect the fuel pump relay and its circuit. The auxiliary oil pressure switch is present to provide a redundant path for fuel pump power in the event the relay fails, but it may be at a reduced voltage (I/R drop across the switch).

Just for the sake of sanity, you can test the voltage at the fuel pump itself. There should be a connector near the fuel tank which can be back-probed to monitor voltage while th pump is still connected and running.

You might also want to compare that to the voltage present at ECM terminal D-15/16 for comparison.
