Top Sercret S15

Hi everyone.

Just thought I would share some pictures of my recent completed silvia.
Its been a couple of years since I did any modelling. I have done nothing special. I wanted to keep it simple, so its more or less made straight from the box.

Comments welcome, let me know how my return to modelling went.

Thanks for looking.

Re: Top Sercret S15

Is this a Aoshima D1GP kit?

Looks really great, LOVE the gold color!
One question though, are the decals on the side supposed to be reversed?

Yes this is the Aoshima kit.

I wondered that about the reversed decals as well, but I did some research and found that the real car has it decals reversed on the left hand side, it seems a lot of D1 cars have there decals reversed on the left hand side. Not sure why.

Re: Top Sercret S15

looks great...awesome job on this one.

...the only thing is that it sits a little high, but i don't know how easily the suspension on this kit could be modified.

but other than that, looks really nice.

Re: Top Sercret S15

It's very easy to lower.

Just remove the springs and glue the wheels a bit higher.

I did it too:
