Green Bay -4

Favre Retires

Ding dong the Favre is gone!!!

Let the NFC North rejoice! It is a great and glorious day. Seriously though, he was a great player and a class act which made him so damn frustrating. He terrorized our fine division for 17 years but no more. We are free at last.

So... how do you remember #4? SL3000gt I know you must be sad today. Lo siento homes

Re: Green Bay -4

Sad day indeed. Though he did have his fair share of interceptions thrown, he was a great quarterback. I first heard about it when I was playing COD4 online and I heard some people talking about it on there. So, needless to say I had to check it out for myself. He did the Packers well and is a QB that will be remembered fondly for all of us Cheese heads. And don't worry, there is will be more "terrorizing" to come.

Though I am now and forever a Bears fan, I am a little sad to see him go. I enjoyed watching him play and enjoyed even more watching him hit the turf when he played the Bears. He was a great competitor and a challenging adversary, which made it that much better when the Bears won.

Now, it's time to start the sackfest on Aaron Rodgers.

I thought he was going to play it out one more season. He had an amazing team, he was on a roll, the chemistry was perfect...and now Green Bay has to start that over.

Re: Green Bay -4

I will miss seeing DEs smash him into the frozen tundra and all the INTs the CBs feast on when he gets silly, but I will NOT miss all the crazy ridiculous passes that he would wing up into the clouds and somehow land in te endzone.

too bad but i dont feel bad for green bay. they had their run. and i agree with whoever said "id trade wisconsin for part of canada". its between da bears and da viqueens now. brian urlacher is a hell of a player but im from MN so i gotta go with purple and gold. plus vikings are my ancestors.

Sorry mate, GB is still a contender in that division and mayhaps the front runner to win the division.........even with Favre gone! Aaron Rodgers was the best QB out of that draft and probably the best out of any draft since then (the last few had weak QB's in em.) The only QB recently drafted that might be better than Rodgers is Brian Brohm from this years draft.
He has had 4 yrs to study behind Favre and has a great young team to grow and bond with.
