I cant stand those people who try and put down the Rotary Engine by saying that it is a POS or that the engine is unreliable. WHY TRY AND SAY ANYTHING ABOUT A CAR YOU JUST DONT UNDERSTAND! Somehow I dont think that those people have ever owned or experienced one that was properely taken care of prior to their joyride in them. :grey: And for those of you who have owned them and understand how they work and how to take care of them, yet you still disagree with them, then that is your personal opinion to not like the car, maybe youve had bad luck with them or just did not like them and thats OK, i dont like all of the big domestic muscle cars all that much and i dont expect you all to like imports or rotary engines either, but leave us to our own little world that we have, imports, and we'll leave you alone. I enjoy some muscle cars, but do not favor them, and Im sure that there are a lot of others out there who like domestics but do not favor imports... its all in the opinion of the other person, in the eye of the beholder. :grey:

Are you dense? Why call me a RE hater? Didn't I make it clear that I've built NUMEROUS race rotary engines? That I love rotaries, and have put rotary engines in non rotary engine cars? I can rebuild a rotary blindfolded, you fu(ktard! I have a LOT of project ideas that include putting rotary engines into interesting cars... (like a 20B powered Protege)

You are too stupid to even understand HALF of what I posted, if all YOU got out of it was that I said V8s are superior.

What I said was that the V8 used can make more power for less money, without the weight penalty YOU think it has, and will last longer at the same power levels. I have decades of experience with BOTH (actually with far more than just rotaries OR V8s...), AND YOU DON'T! I like them ALL. Unlike you retards, who simply HAVE to have it either/or!

BTW, I haven't owned that RX7 since '98. I built it in '93. Autocrossed it and raced it for 5 years at that power level, and it got better fuel mileage than it did STOCK. But it was still only one of over a hundered cars I've owned, and one of a few hundred I've driven and raced.
