'88 teg in trouble

ok here is my trouble. bought an '88 Teg from a friend for nothing it ran when i first got it, but needed clutch changed.

i changed it and pulled interior for steam clean. in the process i pulled the ECU. the next day i was driving it pretty hard and then bam engine bogged down and would give no more power. I down shifted and i got enough to get home. it ran fine in rpm under 3500, since then it idles a little funny and is burning hella rich. Every gear works at the bott0om end to about 3500 rpm then it boggs down, in think it delivers too much fuel or something.

I replaced wires and plugs and within 2 days the plugs were carbonized. I chaged the 02 sensor last night, but to no effect. The only thing i can figure is that when i p[ulled the computer, which had some water damage, and put it back i messed it up. the only thing i ddi was clean the rust resudue off the circuit board with alcohol like i do alln the time. my fear is that my ecu is dead now cause i pulled some rusted solder or something.

the ECU keeps flashing MAP error. I have done everything but pull the MAP itself, which i dont know where it is. My father and i believe it fto be an electrical problem with the ECU. There were no problems until i pulled it.

Any help on the topic would be appreciated. please let me know i would like to get this running buy this weekend. How can i isolate the problem short of getting a new ECU?

well, go to a junkyard and get a new ECU. You shouldn't have to pay more than 40.
