More Free Maintenance Manuals

You can never have too many! I especially like the schematics. You won't find everything you need but, there's a lot of good info. There's even a section on home improvement subjects. Big thanks to tempfixit and the Ohio Public Library System.

Re: More free manuals

Many libraries have a link to this database. I have used it many times.

I do not want to be too pessimistic but the information they have is only a general one. If your car has some different layout or some special features you will rather get in trouble if you use it.
As an example they tell you to use a C clamp to retract a piston on the front brake caliper in 92 Subaru. If you follow their advice you will break it. The piston needs to be rotated…

On the side note they have a list of some TSBs and recalls. This is a very valuable info.

Agreed. They aren't the pinnacle of the manual world but, might come in handy as a second/third source. The schematics, recalls and TSBs are my highlights. Course as we found out recently even factory manuals can be wrong and create headaches galor. You have to use any manual with a level of caution. Aircraft maintenance manuals were no different. I'd get writers cramps from submitting changes.
