Revell Corvette C6 - Wheel Set Query

Guys,
I want to spice up my next Corvette C6 to look something like this.

(Disregard the fact it is a Dodge Viper)

What do you guys think of this as a color/wheel combo?
Personally I am keen on it. Can someone please point me in the right direction for a set of 19"/20" rims/tyres that look like this?
I found it on the Forgeline site.

That is a hot looking Viper! I think 19"/20" rims like that are the holy grail of modeling right now.

Zoom-Zoom did a Corvette with Challenge style rims. It turned out awesome. Might get you close to what you are looking for.

Cheers.
Yes that Viper is a real killer. I must do that one too. Have printed it up(and stuck it up at work and will do the same at home) for inspiration.

I will check out the F430 and see formyelf. The number of spokes are different(so I may even try and modify some existing ones and then cast up my own rims). Could always use them again or flog off a few sets to pay for materials.

I would be interested if you end up creating rims like that...

Chevelle 454 posted this Aristo in the finished section...spokes are different though, but pretty close?

That's OK.
Cheers anyway. I want something closer to the Viper wheel set.

I am going to have a crack at making a set for myself.
I'll keep you guys posted.

Re: Revell Corvette C6 - Wheel Set Query

Hi Guys,
Progressing well so far. Been priming the body and sanding back. Painted it black last night and rubbed it back to remove any grit etc.

It's going to get a nice wet 2 pack clear coat on it, so will end up nice and glossy like the Viper.
Next up is the interior. Any thoughts on colors to use?
And to get cracking on the wheels and master a set.
Off to get an SRT tomorrow....
