Sqweaking in tire HELP!!! 96 Blazer

My mechanic and I have been trying to find this sqweaking sound that seems to come from the front driver's side tire or suspension...we cant find what it is. has anybody come across this problem and can offer a suggestion. it is definately not the breaks. the sqweaking happens making a right turn only over a bump (never a left turn) and sometimes straight over a bump. the problem comes and goes. if anybody can help i really would appreciate it..so i can sell the blazer. thanks

two or four wheel drive? Could be a shock, could be a worn stabilizer link bushing, if four wheel drive could also be a bad cv joint.

Before you waste alot of money try this...I've had more than one come in after attempted repairs elsewhere for this.

Hood Hinge Rattle (Install Spring Washer)
1995-2002 Chevrolet and GMC S/T Pickup and Utility Models (Plant Codes 8 and K)

1996-2001 Oldsmobile Bravada

This bulletin is being revised to add the 2002 model year, plant codes, and update labor time information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 01-08-63-001 (Section 08 -- Body and Accessories).

Condition
Some customers may comment on a rattle coming from either or both front corners of the instrument panel near the hood hinge areas. This noise may often be mistaken for a loose shock absorber. The rattle may be heard when driving over rough roads and is most noticeable when the road surface creates a side-to-side vehicle motion.

Cause
Excessive clearance at the hood hinge attaching bolt may cause this condition. The excessive clearance allows the hood hinge to make metal contact with the hood hinge bracket, which produces a rattling noise.

Correction

Important
For additional information, see the Body Front End subsection of the Body and Accessories Section of the appropriate Service Manual.

Remove the hood hinge attaching bolt (1).
Install a spring washer (2) on the bolt as shown in above illustration.
Install the bolt. Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).
