4t60E transmission
okay so i have a 92 lumina with a 4t60e transmission what other cars have this transmission and is interchangable with it would be greatly appreciated

I have a 90' lumina, it came with the "t440" tranny... I know that the 4t60e tranny's fit in 90 lumi's... they are a stronger transmission than the t440.. also the gear ratio's are different too.. as for what else they fit into, I couldn't tell ya. I would imagine that they would fit in grand prix too being that there the same cars just different body and interiors..

I believe that is still a cable shift and not electronic,went to electronic in 1993.the cable shift is easy to change the gear ratio in,change the governor.You will not find one used if you are lucky to find one.Most yards crush the older cars since the price of crush cars went up.
