timing belt change - when should i?

When should I have my timing belt changed? My owner’s manual tells me 105K depending on driving conditions but I have seen other boards that recommend changing at 60K.

Thanks

60K sounds right, 100K is really pushing it. Easier just to change the belt cause if that belt breaks, well, you'll replace the belt and a whole bunch of other crap.

and if you werent already planning to, you should also change your water pump, so you dont have to pay for labor twice. and if you want to do a little performance tuning, have them throw on cam gears as well. no point in paying for labor more than once.
