99 cav. can't get the dash board off

99. cav. want to replace my radio, took all the screws out but cannot get the top of the dash off around the passenger air bag. took the screws out of the top vent by the windshield cannot find how to release dash top seems stuck to the airbag cover and don't want that stupid thing exploding. How to I get the top off to get the face cover off for the radio removal?

There's alot more screws then those up by the windshield, There's 1 screw on either side of the dashboard by the doors, and 5 screws in the glove box. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=321030 Here's the thread that will provide you with complete and detailed instructions to remove it.

you gotta pull all that off to change the radio...........? glad I own a Sunfire ,two minutes and radio was out.
