buying new battery

im heading out either later today or tomorrow to get a new battery... i was wondering because i have decent system being powered through the car that i should get a certain kind of battery and the specifics to the kind of battery i need to get for my car

A lot of people will say go with those Yellow top batteries. Optima I think makes them? Those are supposed to be very good for systems and performance cars.

I personally use Die Hards. I have the highest cranking in there, but that's more for the cold than anything.

Whatever you do, don't get a battery at Autozone... especially the ValueCraft (also know as ValveCrap) brand. I bought 3 from there... aand they were all "defective" right out of the store.

I've always had great luck with A C Delco brand batteries as well as co workers and other associates. I average at least 8 to 10 years from mine, and some have even gone longer.

for AC Delco. We run those in damn near everything we own and never have had any issues with premature failing.

I got the weather handler. I like it. Everyone else here at home uses Interstate. They work pretty well also.
