1999 Check Engine Light, How to reset?

How do you reset the CEL after making the repair?

Best and surest way is to use a scan tool to erase the codes. You can disconnect the battery for a period of time and it will reset, but you also will need to relearn the PCM to how you drive. It can give minor problems until it has releaqrned your driving habits.
