My power windows work fine sometimes. Other times while I am driving, the windows will not work. If I stop the car and put it in park and switch the ignition off and then to acc. they will work. They may or may not work when I re-start the car. If I put the passenger window lock in use, and try the drivers window when the malfunction is happening, I get a buzzing noise from the window switch area. Any clues?

Re: Power Window Problems 06 Grand Prix
Have you checked your battery/charging system (especially while the car is running) maybe there isnt enough amperage to make the windows move ie: A failing or bad alternator.

Re: Power Window Problems 06 Grand Prix
The power is ok. I am thinking a relay or a computer somewhere. I took it in to the dealer today. I am still under warranty. Just didn't want to deal with the hassle. Thanks

Re: Power Window Problems 06 Grand Prix
It was a short in the wiring between the door and door jamb.
