Bought another Honda!

Yup gone and done it again, a Prelude virgin but not Honda. I got a 1993 2.2 VTEC (H22) UK spec 4th Gen 4WS.

It has a bodykit that I have never seen before, have been told it’s the limited edition Honda F1 kit, has a F1 sticker at the back (thought it was rice ).

This is my 4th Honda, my 1st car was a 1st gen CRX which got written off by a hit & run driver ;(. The other two which I currently have are both CR-X’s JDM Si and JDM siR. The Prelude is my 4th ;o). Will take some daytime pics but what do you guys think…..

Thanks! Neither would I, i even think the 16's look good with the current drop. The only thing I would want to do to that car is turbo it! It only has 80K on the clock with a full Honda service history!

I'd tint it. And I'd smoke the tail lights if they arent done already. But thats a real nice. Nothing else needs to be done in the looks department. Great find.

Very nice Prelude, cyberrexer!! Haven´t seen this kit either in europe (or anywhere else) yet but it looks very nice. The 16" rims also look good on it so personally I wouldn´t go bigger, too.
So...WELCOME to the "Prelude family"!

nice, i like it! how much did u pay for that! i wanted a vtec but nice ride! any engine mods on it? and i never heard of a honda f1 kit but i have seen that body kit, ive seen just about all of the prelude kits. i would go ahead and take that f1 sticker u mentioned off. get some xenon, clear the orange in ur tails, get white rims with a polished lip, get some clear bumper lenses and tint the windows a little. well, thats what i would do to it, and im still in the process of modding up my lude and im very picking on what goes on my car so it might take a while. but once again, nice lude

Thanks all for the replies. I know there definitely was an F1 Honda kit, in the UK anyway – special edition for the Delsol and the Prelude, I’ve seen the Delsol one and looks similar from the side.

MidNiteMysT, none of your links work for me. Here is a pic of the Delsol with that kit, unfortunately it’s only of the front…..

Not looking to do anything to the Prelude really for the time being. Maybe a few bit’s like clear front indicators, light smoke tint and upgrade the suspension. I’m pretty sure they are the original shocks with lowered springs, the shocks feel like they have given up the ghost! Long term I’d want to turbo it.

For now my “money pit” is the CRX, hoping to get it setup for the track……..

damn them and their leech protection shit, o well. if you go to www.preludecrazy.com and look at the kits i meantioned, it looks like urs. i remember seeing that del sol kit before. didnt know it came for the prelude, urs looks a little more pointy, not like a round bubble like the del sol but if ur sure, im not gonna argue, nice ride anyways. and nice crx i like

MidNiteMysT, just looked at those kits and you’re right it looks dame close to the (Ace Speed “V” Style) kit. I was going to take the F1 sticker off anyway, coz even if it is a F1 kit, those not in the know would think it was rice.

Thanks for that dude, could do with some better pics of that kit though to be 100%.
