Re: bmw 635 csi

I fear that you would have been better off removing those parts from the sprue before painting them - looking at how they're attached you risk damaging them when removing them now.

Hopefully you won't though because your paint looks great

Re: bmw 635 csi

You had to remove the pieces before painting.
The photos are blurry, but from what I see seems there is the orange peel on the engine cover.

Re: bmw 635 csi

Well that was FAST...I was hoping to see someone build this kit as I love the car but did not know the kit's quality...looks good enough, and I think I will pick one up. Keep up the work!

Re: bmw 635 csi

Nice build, but the numberplate is incorrect.
It's from a ten years later and belongs to a Fiat cinquecento.

Re: bmw 635 csi

the plate was in the box with the model so that's why i pick it up. i'm not used to euro plates so maybe it's not the correct one

Re: bmw 635 csi

If you can change the plate to TX-61-uz , you have a '89 dutch plate which does not exist anymore.
I've tryed to find a correct plate of a 6 series Beemer from that era.
I'm living in the netherlands so i can look out some dutch plates and found out that the revellplates are never correct.

You can also make a plate with two numbers-YA- two numbers on a dark blue background, this is a plate for imported cars from the USA.
like 41-YA-08, this is the plate of a '76 silver 635i.

I hope i helped you out with this.
Your build is super and i like to see more beemers
