kill stories...

here's a couple from this weekend.

1st i was riding with my friend in his talon. he has a turbonetics 60-1 turbo, tial wastegate, TXS boost controller and blowoff valve, intake, and turbonetics header. it sounds like a lot but he's still running the stock fuel system so his boost is turned all the way down to .83 BAR, about 13 psi. well we had 4 people in the car and some kid in a white RSX pulls up next to us and starts pacing us. it had some neons and indiglo emblems, thats all i could see. and he didn't have any passengers. well there were no other cars out so my friend downshifts and waits for the other guy to go 1st (we always do that). the guy floored it and so did we, starting at about 60mph and w put about 3 lengths on the guy by 100mph.

then later there was a riced out sentra se-r spec-v, it was stock with a universal muffler, big aluminum wing, and purple neons :apuke: and we told him both of our cars were stock. so we lined up, the se-r on the right, talon in the middle, and my car on the left. we went from about a 10mph roll (let him hit it 1st) and by 50 i had 2 lengths on him and the talon had 3. it was cool

Talking I got a kill for you!

:finger:

In H-town everyone rolls Honda or some sort of TRD. This 02 celica that was fresh from the rice factory kept pacing me and then he dropped a gear and threw on his hazards. This pissed me off, so I dropped to second and caught him at the light. I have a toggle switch to my second fuel pump so I hit it and waited for green. I murderized his white GT-S so bad that he didn't even want a rematch at the next light. People underestimate how fast you can make a little Nissan truck. I guess you guys are the only ones who could give me competition.

What the hell does toggling to your other fuel pump have to do with anything?!?! Unless you run like double the fuel or...?...what modifications have you done to your truck?

Cool I have two fuel pumps

I used to run NOS in my truck so when i quit running it instead of taking out the bigger fuel pump i just kept it in and put my stock one back in too. i ran the bigger fuel pump to a toggle switch that when turned on provides waaay more fuel than i need but my truck runs alot faster, i guess since i still have the bigger injectors. i was just burning too much gas on my way to college everyday. (broke college student). the mods i have on my truck are plug wires, MSD ignition, custom turbo (my friend engineered it), 2.5 piping with no resonator, high flow cat, Glasspak exhaust, +4 plugs, dual fuel pumps, high flow injectors, K&N intake, Tornado air charger, and custom sound system w/ neons.

from a standstill, pretty close. its a fwd talon, and he has 2 choices to get off the line: 1. spin the hell out of the tires 2. roll slowly off the line and wait for that big bastard to spool up at 4700-ish rpm, so it's not strong from a standstill.

Does he not have enough controll to ride the clutch untill a good deal of traction is produced, or does he not want to wear the clutch so quick?

Nice kills.

I got a good one for ya. The other night a turboed civic ex pulled up next to me at a stoplight and reved his engine a few times, which sounded like a weedwacker on crack. when the light turned green we went for it and by the time i hit around 100mph you could see a beaten civic far behind(about 5 car lengths) in the rear veiw mirror of my SRT-4. It was symphony of turbo charged proportions.

civic or not...if it was turbo'd...its not gonna sound like a weed whacker...an he wasn't runnin much boost if u beat him by 5 cars...considering at only around 6psi, he's a low-mid 14 second car...then he wasn't turboed..
